West Allis Farmer's Market

by - 12:17 PM

Spent the afternoon at the West Allis Farmer's Market. I remember my grandma used to take us to farmer's markets all of the time when we we're little. Felt a little nostalgic to be back at one. It was also Chhally's first time at one!

We walked amongst the aroma of fresh herbs...

And vegetables!

Chhally ordered some fresh tamales from a vendor..

And I scouted for fresh strawberries..

Got a HUGE container of fresh, hand picked strawberries for $4.25! I can tell you that these were the sweetest strawberries I have ever eaten! 129478831 TIMES BETTER than the store bought ones that are partially moldy already lol

I plan on buying more of our groceries from our local farmers. Do you?

xoxo Vicky
