I am a huge rib fan. Okay, I'm just a huge BBQ fan, period. Wisconsin isn't too well known for its BBQ joints, so those seeking melt-in-your-mouth, slow-cooked ribs are going to have to road trip down to Illinois or get crafty at home. Luckily, Team Hess graced the internet with their very simple and very easy recipe for Crockpot BBQ ribs. There is literally only 5 ingredients needed. Bless you, Team Hess! Worcestershire, cooking sherry, your favorite BBQ sauce, and ribs.

The results of slow cooking for 8 hours...!

Ingredients:
  • 3 lbs Pork or Beef Ribs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup cooking sherry
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
Directions:
  1. Place ribs standing upright in crock pot. 
  2. Pour in sherry and water, Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper. 
  3. Pour barbecue sauce over ribs. (I used a brush to evenly spread the sauce).
  4. Cook on low approximately 8 hours. Serve with additional barbecue sauce for dipping.
